Capital punishment: B's lose Game 7 in OT

Joel Ward tapped in a rebound of a Mike Knuble shot just 2:57 into the first overtime to lead the Capitals over the Bruins, 2-1, in a tense Game 7 Wednesday night at TD Garden. It marked the first time in Stanley Cup playoff history that all seven games were decided by one goal. The defending champion Bruins -- who won three Game 7 showdowns en route to winning the Stanley Cup last year -- received an ovation as they left the ice.
