According to a major league source, the Red Sox do not plan to interview any members of the 2012 coaching staff for their managerial vacancy. That would appear to rule out Tim Bogar, who served as bench coach in 2012 under Bobby Valentine. While Bogar was a finalist for the managerial vacancy with the Houston Astros this year, the Sox appear to be searching outside the organization for the successor to Bobby Valentine.
